Position Overview: The Manufacturing Specialist Trainee at Makino Vietnam will undergo a comprehensive 6-month rotational training program to gain in-depth knowledge and hands-on experience in various departments related to CNC machine assembly and manufacturing operations. The role is designed to build a strong foundation in assembly processes, process engineering, quality control, supplier quality engineering, and warehouse management. This position prepares the trainee for a future role as a Manufacturing Specialist within the company.

Key Responsibilities:
- Assembly Department :
- Learn and perform basic assembly tasks of CNC machines processes.
- Understand the use of tools and equipment in assembly operations.
- Adhere to safety and quality standards during assembly processes.
- Participate in continuous improvement initiatives to enhance assembly efficiency.
- Process Engineering :
- Gain knowledge of process engineering principles and practices.
- Assist in process optimization projects and learn to use engineering tools & software.
- Understand and monitor key performance indicators (KPIs) for manufacturing processes.
- Implement lean manufacturing techniques to improve production processes.
- Quality Control:
- Learn quality control and assurance principles and techniques.
- Conduct quality inspections and audits on CNC machines and components.
- Use measurement and testing equipment to ensure product quality.
- Analyze quality data, identify issues, and recommend corrective actions.
- Supplier Quality Engineering:
- Understand the role of supplier quality engineering in manufacturing.
- Participate in supplier evaluations, audits, and assessments.
- Communicate quality expectations to suppliers and ensure compliance with standards.
- Handle non-conformance issues and assist in implementing corrective actions with suppliers.
- Warehouse Management :
- Learn warehouse operations, including receiving, storing, and shipping processes.
- Understand inventory management principles and participate in stock control activities.
- Use warehouse management systems (WMS) to track and manage inventory.
- Conduct inventory audits and ensure the accuracy of stock levels.
- Specialization:
- Specializing in the department where the trainee will be posted permanently.
- Gain in-depth knowledge and skills specific to the chosen area.
- Work closely with department leaders to understand advanced concepts and techniques.
- Contribute to ongoing projects and initiatives in the specialization area.
