Responsibilities:
Strategy Co-ownership Partner with the CGO/CMO to define yearly/quarterly marketing strategy, including segment prioritization, channel mix, and OKR setting. You are expected to challenge assumptions, bring data, and own the logic behind decisions.
Team Leadership & Capability Building Lead and develop a team spanning Content, SEO, Performance, Growth, and Partnership. The team is transitioning into new territory - high-GMV brand acquisition and segment-led marketing.
Segment-Led Marketing Execution Drive marketing programs built around merchant segments - mass market retention and high-value merchant acquisition are parallel tracks with different funnels, messaging, and success metrics. You own the logic connecting segment insight to channel execution.
Performance & Channel Ownership Oversee SEO, paid acquisition, content marketing, lifecycle/email, and partnership channels. Make resource allocation decisions across channels based on data, not inertia. Own the CAC and MRR contribution at leadership level.
Data-Driven Decision Making Set the analytical standard for the team. Surface insights that drive strategic decisions, not just reporting what happened, but diagnosing why and recommending what's next. Expected to work fluently with funnel metrics, cohort data, and B2B SaaS KPIs (CAC, LTV, activation rate, churn contribution).
AI Integration Actively lead the team's AI experimentation roadmap. Each function under Marketing runs structured AI experiments each quarter. You define the framework, set the standard, and scale what works.
Reporting & OKR Management Own the marketing OKR set. Report progress to senior leadership with clarity - what moved, what's blocked, what decision is needed. No vanity metrics.
Yêu cầu
Non-negotiable:
3+ years in growth or performance marketing, with at least 1 years in a team leadership role
Demonstrated experience in B2B SaaS - fluent in MRR, CAC, LTV, activation, and churn metrics (not just campaign CTR/ROAS)
Proven ability to build and structure a marketing team - not just manage one
Strong analytical capability: can run a root cause analysis, not just read a dashboard
Experience developing marketing strategy, not just receiving it
AI-literate: actively uses AI tools in day-to-day work and has opinions on where it adds real leverage
Strong advantage:
Experience with the Shopify ecosystem or e-commerce SaaS
Familiarity with affiliate or influencer marketing mechanics
Has worked in a high-growth environment where the playbook didn't exist yet
