Job Description
Our client is a foreign-invested company, now looking for a Metrology Team Leader (Mechanical, $1.100, ID 19890):
CMM Programming: Execute and oversee dimensional inspections using CMM software based on 2D/3D CAD models.
Calibration Management: Develop and maintain the annual calibration master plan for all equipment, including QC tools, jigs, and fixtures.
Data Integrity: Conduct MSA (Measurement Systems Analysis) and GR&R studies to validate measurement reliability.
Quality Control: Review technical drawings and GD&T specifications to formulate comprehensive measurement strategies.
Quality Authority: Final authority to accept or reject products based on dimensional accuracy.
Issue Resolution: Identify non-conformities in appearance, size, or function and propose technical solutions.
Escalation: Promptly report critical quality deviations or abnormalities to the General Director and relevant departments (Production/Technical).
Standards: Uphold 5S principles within the CMM laboratory and ensure all reports are archived for full traceability.
Supervision: Direct and mentor a measurement team, ensuring high performance and technical accuracy.
Workflow Management: Delegate tasks and oversee project timelines to ensure measurement activities align with production schedules.
Training: Facilitate On-the-Job Training (OJT) for team members to enhance CMM programming and data analysis skills.
Requirement
Education: Bachelor's degree in Mechanical Engineering, Manufacturing Engineering, or a closely related technical field.
3 years as a Metrology Team Leader/ Senior Engineer in an FDI environment.
Direct experience in the Precision Mechanics or High-Precision Engineering sector is highly preferred.
Expertise in CMM software (Zeiss Calypso, PC-DMIS, etc.).
Advanced ability to interpret 2D/3D CAD files and technical blueprints.
Deep understanding of Geometric Dimensioning and Tolerancing.
Professional fluency in English.
