- Perform testing and measurement for FAI and investigate samples.
- Create the FAI measurement plan following the report template and drawing requirements.
- Control and monitor all measuring equipment in the Metrology Lab.
- Proficient in using various office software (e.g., Excel, Word).
- Prepare samples for hardness testing.
- Support the calibration and maintenance of measurement equipment.
Education: Mechanical college degree, or related technical college degree
Experience: Minimum of 2 years of experience working in a laboratory environment, with a focus on measurement equipment, interpreting product drawings, and quality control. Hands-on experience with a variety of measurement tools is highly preferred, including but not limited to: CMM, VMM, Gauges, calipers, micrometers, Hardness
testers (HRC, HV)
Basic knowledge of GD&T - Basic English communication, reading, and writing.
Skills:
- Proficient in operating and programming CMM and VMM - Able to use some basic office software such as excel, outlook, for recording and reporting
- Basic in statistical techniques including inspection techniques (7 QC tool, SPC). - Good attitude, agile, willing to learn, and early warning to prevent problem. - Teamwork, pro-active, and good mindset in safety.
