Middle/Senior Platform/System Operations Engineer - US Time Zone

JOB DESCRIPTION
We are looking for a
Middle/Senior Platform/System Operations Engineer
to manage and maintain Linux-based infrastructure, containerized environments, and application operations, ensuring system stability, availability, and smooth deployments. The ideal candidate has strong hands-on experience with Linux, Kubernetes, Docker, CI/CD, and good English communication skills.
Operate and maintain Linux/VM-based environments, including system patching, troubleshooting, and incident resolution.
Manage Kubernetes and Docker environments, including cluster maintenance and master/worker node upgrades.
Install, configure, upgrade, and maintain applications and web servers.
Execute application deployments following CI/CD processes and operational runbooks.
Perform post-deployment validation, troubleshooting, and root cause analysis (RCA).
Maintain monitoring and alerting systems, automate health checks, and track service availability.
Manage SSL certificates and support security audits, vulnerability remediation, API security, and CDN configurations.
Maintain Infrastructure as Code (IaC) components and support automation using Ansible and Terraform.
Collaborate with DevOps teams to improve CI/CD pipelines and deployment standards.
REQUIRED SKILLS AND EXPERIENCE
5+ years of hands-on experience in System Administration, Platform Operations, or Application Operations.
Strong Linux administration and system troubleshooting skills.
Practical experience with application deployments, monitoring, and incident response.
Working knowledge of Kubernetes, Docker, and containerized environments.
Understanding of CI/CD processes and operational procedures.
Ability to work independently and collaborate effectively with technical teams.
Good English communication skills (written and verbal)
NICE TO HAVE
Experience with AWS, Azure, or GCP.
Experience with Ansible, Terraform, or other automation/IaC tools.
Familiarity with CI/CD tools and deployment automation.
Knowledge of infrastructure security, monitoring, and reliability practices
