Quality Control - Job Description
Key Responsibility
Analyze business requirements and Acceptance Criteria to design comprehensive test scenarios and test cases.
Perform manual testing, including Functional, Regression, Smoke, Integration, and User Acceptance Testing (UAT).
Execute test plans across multiple environments (DEV, TEST, UAT, Production verification).
Identify, document, and track defects using Jira while collaborating closely with Developers and Business Analysts.
Validate application data using SQL queries and prepare test data when necessary.
Investigate application issues using Browser Developer Tools (Console, Network, HTML/DOM inspection).
Participate in Sprint Planning, Daily Standups, Sprint Reviews, and Retrospectives within an Agile/Scrum environment.
Continuously improve testing quality and efficiency by leveraging AI tools throughout the QA process.
Experience in domain insurance is an advantage
Qualification Requirements​Technical Skills
Minimum 4 - 5 years of experience in Manual Testing for web applications and Automation test
Good English communication
Experience working in Agile software development environments.
Experience collaborating with Developers, Business Analysts, and Project Managers.
Strong understanding of software testing principles, including: Test Levels (Integration, System, UAT), Test Types (Functional, Regression, Smoke, Sanity), Defect Lifecycle.
Test Design Techniques:Boundary Value Analysis, Equivalence Partitioning, Decision Table, State Transition, Negative Testing.
Candidates should be able to independently design effective test cases from business requirements and Acceptance Criteria.
Comfortable writing SQL queries involving multiple-table JOINs.
Validate application data directly from databases.
Prepare and maintain testing data.
Jira (or equivalent issue tracking tools)
Browser Developer Tools (Console, Network, HTML/DOM)
Basic understanding of REST APIs and API testing concepts
Able to read software requirements written in English.
Able to write clear and professional test cases and bug reports in English.
Basic verbal communication for working with international teams is an advantage.
