Milk Collection Officer

PRINCIPLE ACCOUNTABILITIES
- The Milk Collection Officer is responsible for supervise the operation at cooling units (Farm Cooling Tank, Collection Points and Collaboration Groups).
- Objectives:
o Ensure the operation of at assigned cooling units as the set S.O.P
o Control the milk quality at collection point level and its related bulk deliveries
REPORTING RELATIONSHIP
- Reporting to Milk Collection Manager
- Span of control: 0
JOB RESPONSIBILITIES
1) General:
- Follows company's regulations including Food Safety & Quality, Safety - Health - Environment.
- Supervises the performance of stakeholders and ensures their activites at the assigned sites to follow and comply with the company's regulations, contracts and set S.O.P.
2) Ensures the milk collection operations:
- Manages and supervises the building contruction/ installation/ relocation of cooling units at farms/CPs as set standard.
- Ensures the routine CU's operation (CP/CG/FCT) including the reception, chilling and storage process of fresh milk and hygiene/ operation of equiment according the set standards.
- Ensures the operations of automation system, remoted monitoring system and/or other systems at assigned sites.
- Monitors the weigh diff (CP-Factory) at the assigned cooling units and routes of bulk tankers.
3) Stock control, maintenance and reparation:
- Coordinates with stakeholders to ensure the maintenance, calibration and reparation for all milk collection's equipment.
- Controls and monitors chemical consumptions at the assigned sites in effective and efficient ways.
- Manages/ monitors stock and fixed assets at the assigned CP's/ CG's
4) Others:
- Carries out assignments/ projects as assigned by the direct supervisor.
