Description
As an Accounting Intern you will work alongside the senior members of the Finance/Accounting Department, getting unique hands-on experience in a corporate finance department. In addition to the core finance/accounting function, you will also be exposed to the fundamentals of a Software (SaaS) company and gain an appreciation for life in a faced-paced venture-backed technology start-up.
Responsibilities
Support the Finance Staff in the following activities:
Handle transactional accounting for local and international entities
Assisting with accounting entries and periodic report preparation
Support month-end closing processes
Perform general accounting tasks, including reconciliation and invoice handling
Contribute to ad hoc accounting and finance projects as needed.
Minimum Qualifications
Studying a degree in Business, Finance, Accounting or any other relevant discipline
Proficient communication skills in English
Must be in the final one or two years of study
Desired Skills & Experience
Proficient in Microsoft Office and Google Workspace applications - particularly Excel / Google Sheets
Attention to detail
Ability to multitask
Excellent communication skills
Must be able to work at least 2 days in the office inline with internal company policy.
Additional Qualifications
This position may require no more than 20% travel from time to time as set forth by the Company.
Must be authorized to work in the country where this position is based without the need for visa sponsorship at time of application.
Must have reliable internet connection and an at home workstation setup. (For remote positions)
