As an Accounting Intern, you will be learning about all facets of the accounting cycle by supporting our senior Accountants with daily tasks and activities.
You can expect to learn about new bookkeeping tools and software, prepare journal entries, track and analyse transactions, prepare data for financial reports, while staying up to date with relevant accounting standards, tax regulations, and technological developments.
In addition, you will gain valuable experience in tax audit preparation, including document filing, reconciliation between tax declarations and accounting records, and tax risk assessment.

What does a successful Accounting Intern look like?
Shadow members of the Accounting department
You will be putting your knowledge into practice by supporting members of the Accounting team in their duties. As you will be handling sensitive, confidential financial information, you are required to uphold integrity and fairness in your daily work.
Additionally, you are detail-oriented and comfortable with using spreadsheets to record, track, and compile information.
Post journal entries
Reconcile bank statements and balance sheet accounts
Assist with month-end closing activities.
Tax audit preparation, including document filing and reconciliation between tax declarations and accounting records
Support Tax risk assessment activities
Support the Payable Accountant in checking payment requests.
