Join Virtual Internships as a Placement Development Specialist/SDR and be a hero/heroine...
This role is our unique version of a "SDR". You'll be the hero or heroine of our Placement team because when an intern can't be matched with one of our 20,000+ existing partner companies, you'll step in to source and engage new ones. How will you do that? Well... the secret sauce gets revealed once you're in.
As we're big believers in promoting from within. This role can lead to becoming a senior team member, a team manager, or transitioning into a Placement Matching Specialist role.

What You'll Be Doing
Utilising multiple communication channels (email, calls, looms, LinkedIn) to reach out to potential leads
Setting up meetings for our Placement Matching Specialists
Driving prospects to register on our platform if you can't secure a meeting
Attending in-person networking events to generate leads
Maintaining accurate and up-to-date records in our sales engagement/CRM
Participating in the creation and optimization of lead generation and outreach strategies.Following up on email marketing campaigns, webinars, and other demand generation activities.
Who We're Looking For
Your Attributes
Fluency in English (you don't need an IELTS, but if you did, it would be 7.0+).
"Hunter mentality" - You're energized by the chase and motivated to pursue new prospects daily.
Creative & Bold - You challenge the status quo, test new approaches, and aren't afraid to push boundaries in pursuit of better outcomes
Persistent - "Not interested" isn't the end of the conversation for you-it's the beginning of a new angle
Organized - You can juggle tabs, tools, and slacks without dropping the ball, all while hitting your activity KPIs
Your Experience
1+ years of experience in any of the following roles: Talent Acquisition/Recruitment, SDR/BDR/AE, Marketing - Copywriting, Marketing - Demand Generation
Familiarity with remote work or working with global teams
You stand out from the crowd if you have:
Experience with sending creative cold emails
Experience making cold calls in English
Proven ability to meet targets and KPIs
