• Receive booking requests from customers and overseas agents.
• Check vessel/flight schedules and secure bookings with carriers.
• Coordinate with customers,
shippers, carriers, and overseas agents to ensure shipments are arranged on schedule.
• Monitor cargo readiness and follow up shipment progress until completion.
• Prepare and verify shipping documents, including Bill of Lading (B/L), Air Waybill (AWB), Shipping Instruction (SI), VGM, Debit Note, and other related documents.
• Send booking confirmation, pre-alert, shipping documents, and shipment updates to customers and overseas agents.
• Handle customer inquiries and resolve shipment-related issues in a timely manner.
• Coordinate with the Accounting Department regarding billing, payment collection, and supplier payments.
• Ensure Original Bill release or Telex Release after payment is completed.
• Accurately input and maintain shipment information, customer data, buying/selling rates, costs, and operational milestones in the company system.
• Verify the accuracy and completeness of operational data to ensure compliance with company SOP and customer requirements.
• Proactively monitor shipment status and promptly communicate any schedule changes or exceptions to customers.
• Build and maintain good relationships with customers, carriers, and overseas agents.
• Support process improvement initiatives and perform other duties assigned by the Manager.
• At least 3 years of experience working as Operation staff at Freight Forwarders, esp. handle Ocean/AIR export to USA, EU, LATIN.
• Willing to learn, with a team-oriented mindset and a sense of responsibility.
• Fluent in English and good Computer skill.
