Operation & Maintenance Manager (O&M Manager)

CNGRA (Company) is currently seeking an experienced O&M Manager to assist with the management of the operational aspects of the Company's solar PV C&I business operating in Southeast Asia, primarily Vietnam and Indonesia.
The O&M Manager will be responsible for monitoring the full portfolio operations, which mainly includes minimizing the O&M cost and optimizing the portfolio systems' performance for rooftop and potentially ground-mount projects generally in the range of 500kW to 5MWp.
The O&M Manager will be based in Ho Chi Minh City with regular domestic travel within Vietnam and occasional regional travel.
Responsibilities:
The O&M MANAGER will:
• Monitor the Portfolio performance daily
• Control the inverters remotely or adjust the power of inverters as per command from the local EVN or Load Dispatch Center remotely via the monitoring system.
• Conduct the periodical report and ad-hoc report if required.
• Take the lead to resolve the technical incidents if any that impact the solar system performance
• Analyze the solar system performance loss distribution. Clarify the performance loss reasons and suggest solutions to resolve the problem
• Work with the external Asset Management company to ensure that appointed projects will be maintained on time and properly.
• Set up the maintenance plan & corresponding budget cost for appointed projects and work with external O&M contractors to maintain the projects.
• Handle cost management:
o Manage the O&M budget, ensuring that all costs are controlled and minimized.
o Negotiate and manage service contracts with subcontractors and service providers, ensuring that the best value is obtained for the portfolio.
• Ensure that all invoices and payments are processed accurately and timely.
• Understand and have experience in preventive maintenance and corrective maintenance of Solar C&I projects.
• Support to buy/hire/build the proper monitoring platform to monitor all projects in a unique platform.
• Manage the spare part equipment.
• Stakeholder management:
o Maintain good relationships with all stakeholders, including project developers,
financiers, and local authorities.
o Provide regular updates on the performance of the portfolio, ensuring that all
stakeholders are informed of the key developments.
o Respond to stakeholder inquiries and requests, ensuring that the portfolio is well-managed and operating effectively.
• Compliance management:
o Ensure that all systems are operated in compliance with relevant regulations, including health, safety, and environmental regulations.
o Manage the regulatory compliance reporting, ensuring that all reports are submitted on time and in accordance with the regulations.
o Review and approve all relevant permits and licenses, ensuring that the portfolio is in compliance with the relevant regulations.
• Work closely with external technical advisors where appropriate, including the scoping and tendering of specialist work.
• Maintain working knowledge of current (and proposed) solar-related standards and statutes
