We are seeking a proactive Operations Executive to manage end-to-end shipment execution across air freight and trucking, focusing on booking, routing optimization, vendor coordination, and cost control to ensure efficient and reliable service.
Air Freight Operations
Execute and coordinate shipments per confirmed bookings, ensuring proper routing and capacity
Place bookings with airlines/forwarders, securing space as required
Plan and optimize air freight routes balancing cost and transit time
Monitor shipment milestones and resolve issues
Trucking & Fleet Operations
Design and optimize trucking routes for cost efficiency and on-time delivery
Manage daily PUD, including driver assignment and scheduling
Supervise drivers and ensure compliance with operational standards
Verify monthly driver incentives based on performance and policies
Evaluate driver performance (volume, service quality, attitude, compliance)
Fleet Cost & Performance Control
Monitor fuel, tolls, and vehicle-related expenses
Manage fuel accounts, toll systems (e.g., VETC), and GPS tracking
Track vehicle performance and prepare reports
Consolidate and verify transport costs and coordinate with accounting
Vendor Management
Manage relationships with airlines, trucking vendors, subcontractors, and warehouses
Source and evaluate vendors based on capacity, pricing, and service quality
Negotiate rates and monitor performance for cost and service efficiency
Other tasks as assigned by the supervisor/manager.
