Responsibilities:
- Motivate, lead and develop a team of Private/NFP Underwriting Associates across the U.S.
- Collaborate with branch, region and business unit leadership on business initiatives.
- Assist the Private/Not for Profit Operations Manager to align UA resources to ensure proper support.
- Assist the Private/Not for Profit Operations Manager in ensuring standard operating procedures and workflows are managed and implemented throughout Private/NFP Segment.
- Assist the Private/Not for Profit Operations Manager in ensuring staff adherence with appropriate underwriting strategy, file documentation requirements, and compliance related initiatives and workflows.
- Set direction and establish performance goals of the UA staff and communicate progress, addressing issues that impact service provided by the teams.
- Ensure compliance with all state insurance regulations.
- Assist staff in resolving high visibility problem cases or issues.
- Stay up to date on trends and developments within functional area of expertise as well as the insurance industry

- Results orientation and ability to quickly and effectively resolve problems and issues
- Prior experience managing Financial Lines Operations is helpful.
- Accustomed to using strategic thinking skills in a fast-paced environment
- Excellent PC skills, specifically the Microsoft Suite
- Bachelor's degree preferred
- Grade will depend on the candidate's experience
