OBJECTIVES
Operate and execute in a safety and qualitative way the process and product related tasks, while training new staffs, improving the key performance indicators, line efficiency and production losses to ensure the section's objectives and safety, hygiene agenda is implemented in the daily job.
KEY RESPONSIBILITIES:
SAFETY, FOOD SAFETY AND SUSTAINABILITY:
Maintains the equipment and works in line with the defined and implemented safety and food safety standards.
Applies the 5S, Housekeeping and HACCP related to the work place.
QUALITY OF THE PROCESS AND PRODUCT:
Execute process and product control on all machines where the Technician 1 is working. Special focus on Q points (follow up of the current ones and proposing of the new ones).
TPM AND CONTINUOUS IMPROVEMENT:
Takes initiatives and is actively involved in optimizing workplace performance via AM/ 5S teams and activities (ex: tag & de-tag, zero loss, Kaizen team...).
Proposes improvement actions based on standard analyses and sensing (hearing/ looking/ feeling/ smelling) of his/ her area of the line.
Acts as a line trainer to provide trainings including theory and practice of operation principles of machines and simple maintenance.
PROCESS MANAGEMENT:
Ensures the Packaging process operates following the production plan and specification in standard conditions (ex: using DDS, perform CILT/ 5S...).
EQUIPMENT MANAGEMENT:
Operates the simple/ complex packaging machines/ whole packaging lines (*).
Executes basic maintenance tasks and take part in the overhaul activities according to standards.
REPORTING:
Reports in a timely and accurate way all mandatory and relevant information and KPIs (ex: DDS, log book...).
