Reports To: My Pay Lead, SEA
Location: Ho Chi Minh Office
BASIC PURPOSE OF THE POSITION
This position is responsible for:
The effective and efficient management support and delivery of payroll processes in Indonesia, Thailand, and Vietnam (SEA2 - ID, TH and VN) payroll for approximately 5200 employees including Core workers with various, separate union agreements.
The position will be responsible in managing the day-to-day operations of the payroll team. This role works with the My Pay Southeast Asia and Regional Leads as well as People Team stakeholders split across a management team based in Indonesia, Thailand, and Vietnam locations.

PRINCIPAL ACCOUNTABILITIES
1) People Services Team
- Manage the relationship with SEA2 People Team to ensure agreed processes and services are delivered in line with agreed service levels, customer service and key performance indicators
2) Payroll Expertise & Knowledge
- Maintain an up-to-date knowledge of SEA2 payroll processes and regulations to ensure accuracy & compliance, and stay abreast of changes required; reflecting in accurately maintained Process Documentation
3) Managing Payroll Service Delivery Team
- Direct supervision of day-to-day activities of the Payroll Service Delivery team with emphasis on accurate & timely processing of all payroll-related transactions.
4) Continuous Improvement
- contributes to an environment that is passionate about simplification, and seeks ways to make the process and service simpler and more cost effective for the business
5) Controls & Compliance
- Ensures payroll is run in line with internal and external controls requirements
6) Internal Relationship within the SEA2 People Services Team
- Foster strong relationship within people services team colleagues and represent the team in ID, TH, VN People Services leadership across other workstreams.

KNOW HOW, SKILLS AND KNOWLEDGE FOR THIS POSITION
Bachelor's Degree in Accounting or Business/Finance
Certified Payroll Professional (CPP) or its equivalent
FUNCTIONAL/TECHNICAL EXPERTISE
1. Minimum of 4-5 years payroll experience and with its relevant systems
2. Minimum of 2 years management / supervisory experience
3. Strong HR Background, especially in HR Shared Service model - experience in a complex & dynamic payroll environment
4. Experience with payroll supplier and including vendor management
5. Union payroll experience
6. Proficiency in Microsoft Excel, Word, PPT, Workday ServiceNow, & payroll applications
7. Experience in Knowledge Transfer including knowledge cascade and process documentation (Standard Operating Procedures)
8. Ability to drive for execution
9. Good leadership skills with training, coaching & engaging the team remotely.
10. Good oral and written English communication
