- Production Scheduling & Control
+ Develop and prepared production schedule based on sales forecast, customer orders, and production master plans
+ Established the sequence and lead time for each manufacturing operation to meet shipment deadlines
+ Monitor daily production output against planned targets and make necessary adjustments to ensure targets are met
+ Expedite operations that are causing delays and adjust schedules to accommodate unforeseen conditions (e.g., machine breakdowns, material shortages)
- Capacity & Resource Planning
+ Analyze production and capacity data, available resources to determine manufacturing processes and requirements
+ Optimize resource allocation (labor, machines, equipment) to ensure efficient utilization and maximize production capacity
+ Identify potential production bottlenecks and collaborate with relevant departments to find solutions
- Material Requirements Planning
+ Calculate material requirements based on production schedules and Bills of Materials (BOMs)
+ Coordinate with
purchasing department to ensure timely availability of materials (e.g., yarn, dyes, chemicals)
+ Monitor inventory levels of materials, work-in-progress, and finished goods to avoid shortages or excess stock
- Coordination & Communication
+ Liaise and confer regularly with department supervisors (e.g., spinning, weaving, dyeing, finishing, quality control, maintenance, warehouse) to determine the status of assigned projects and resolve any production issues
+ Communicate production plans, schedules, and any changes effectively to all relevant stakeholders
+ Collaborate with sales teams regarding order status, delivery timelines, and potential impacts on customers
+ Work closely with the quality control department to ensure production processes align with quality standards
- Data Analysis & Reporting
+ Prepare and maintain regular production reports (e.g., daily, weekly, monthly output reports, customer delivery performance, capacity utilization)
+ Analyze production data to identify trends, inefficiencies, and areas for improvement
+ Track KPIs related to production planning, such as On-Time Delivery (OTD), production yield, and schedule adherence
+ Maintain production planning records such as schedules, consumption, and outputs, often within an ERP system
- Process Improvement & System Management
+ Contribute to the development and implementation of improved planning methods and systems
+ Utilize and maintain the company's ERP system for planning and data management
+ Identify opportunities to enhance productivity, reduce waste, and streamline production planning processes
+ Ensure compliance with company policies, safety regulations, and quality standards within the planning domain
- Minimum of 1 years in warehouse supervision, preferably in textile or garment industry.
