Planning Officer

- Making weekly and monthly purchasing plans accurately, completely and timely based on inventory information and delivery plan from Key customer or Sales department
- Implementing delivery plan of material according to the forecast which is agreed with Customers, Sales team.
- Making inventory reports, forecast evaluation, shipping status for Key Customers
- Monitoring ordering plan from Sales bp, analysing forecast data, forecast accuracy, reporting and suggesting for improvement
- Building a system to manage the material demand from the Sales departments
- Receiving delivery plan directly from key customers or demand forecast from Sales team - to review, evaluate, discuss, note changes of quanity, delivery date, ordering proposal, adjustments to delivery schedule
- Monitoring inventory level, ordering schedule, ensuring stock policy maintained, dealing with customers and suppliers as following:
+ Proposing and coordinating the delivery schedule according to the customer's request in the manner of optimizing the best inventory for the company.
+ Working directly with Customers' planners to receive information to agree an optimal ordering plan.
+ Proposing to improve the process/system into the current work to bring higher efficiency.
+ Tracking slow moving goods, close to the date to urge sales to have an early and timely handling
+ Coordinate with the sales team to update and adjust sales plans to ensure effective monthly demand and sales forecasts
+ Monthly synthesize, control sending, forecast of sale teams to suppliers
+ Responsible for reviewing the safety stock policy, determining appropriate inventory classification levels - normal time and high season, epidemic season, information and coordination with sales to come up with appropriate plans, performing to speed up/delay/cancel/hold shipments when necessary to optimize the goods stored in the warehouse, avoid overloading, over stock situation and limit storage fees.
