We are expanding and seeking a full-time PR Account Manager to drive our communications and media engagement practice in our Hanoi office.
The candidate we are seeking will have expertise in multinational client engagement,
communications and stakeholder engagement in Vietnam. He or she should have experience in
project management and in communicating with senior business executives. He or she must have outstanding interpersonal skills and be able to demonstrate written English fluency in PR issue/ trend analysis. The ideal candidate would have prior experience in client relations, corporate affairs, or strategic communications and possess a bachelor's degree in business communication, journalism, marketing and media studies, or related field.
Responsibilities include:
• Structuring and proposing solutions to client challenges and issues
• Building, maintaining, and managing client relationships with proactive engagement and interaction
• Leading the preparation, drafting and finalization of proposals
• Leading project work, including research, presentation to clients and ensuring all deliverables are up to the highest quality. Project deliverables include but are not limited to:
1. Stakeholder and market analysis
2. Insight-driven Strategic PR planning
3. Media advisory and consultation
4. Key message, narrative and story angle development
5. KOL/ community engagement
6. Industry event/ speaking op identification and facilitation
7. Frequent monitoring of and advisory on industry trends, developments and opportunities
8. Budgeting
• Assisting clients in handling media queries and issues relating to their products and/or services
• Working closely with the media relations team to design and execute communication strategies and plans that deliver on clients' business objectives
• Building networks and relationships with reporters and senior editors, media management bodies, and other relevant stakeholders
• Working closely with finance team on invoicing
• Working on special projects as needed and assigned
Yêu cầu
* Desired Skills and Experience:
• Five plus years of experience in
client service, media relations, corporate affairs, and/or strategic communications
• Demonstrable experience engaging and maintaining working relationships with C-Suite business executives.
• Working experience and strong familiarity with government and media stakeholders, coupled with a high-level understanding of the media environment in Vietnam.
• Strategic thinking and the ability to conceptualize complex communication issues to develop big ideas.
• Engaging interpersonal negotiation and communication skills, including experience in cross-cultural environments and international settings.
• Fluent in English and Vietnamese, both written and oral
• The ability to multi-task and adhere to deadlines while managing multiple projects
• The ability to mentor and train junior team members
• The ability to work under pressure in a fast-paced environment
• Dedication to PR profession and client servicing, ability to go above and beyond in client consultation to meet their expectations.
