Primary English Teacher

* Student Achievement
- To promote a high standard of work among students in a friendly, nurturing environment;
- After grade 3, the students will be qualified for STARTERS with the required shield number;
- To effectively build up classroom routines and rules to support primary children to be self-regulated students;
- To promote the Reading programme;
- To work with colleagues and the administration board to implement activities that offer students a rich English environment after class.
* Teaching
- Be a contact point and provide pastoral care for students in your responsibility;
- Work creatively and collaboratively with colleagues to deliver excellent lessons that are suitable for the children's learning styles and child psychology;
-Plan and implement extra-curricular opportunities to offer students an English language application environment outside the classroom;
- Design teaching aids and effectively use them to make learning and teaching English more exciting and engaging;
- Be responsible and creative in utilizing boards, [protected info] make English learning more effectively;
-Build strong relationships with students and use them to enhance students' learning;
- Be aware of the needs of students; plan lesson plans based on suggested ones, actively adjust the lesson plans to meet the student's needs and to reach student's potentials, maintaining a high standard of expectations for students;
- Have the ability to integrate technology to support teaching and learning;
- Be willing to share good practices with other colleagues and engage in a professional learning community to improve the quality of learning English in the Program Department;
- Ensure effective communications with colleagues;
- If required, attend activities, and trips relating to students' learning.
* Assessment
- Effectively provide students with specific information on where they are and what they need to do to improve their learning (one-on-one session, comments, or feedback after teaching and learning session ...);
- If needed, support students with appropriate intervention;
- The end topic test with written and speaking YLE format is used to measure the knowledge and skills the students acquire.
*Administration
- Complete and send post reports and reminders to parents in a timely manner;
- Play a full part in all Professional Trainings including staff meetings;
- Be involved in the organization of school events, assemblies, special focus week...
- Maintain a good quality display in the classroom and public areas that relate to children's learning.
-Any other reasonable tasks assigned by Program Manager.
* Professional Development
- An annual performance appraisal called a Professional Development Plan (PDP) is used to support new recruiters develop their professional development plan;
- PDP is used to help newly recruiters to reach their continual development through identification and implementation of professional development plans.
