Mô tả công việc
Looking for a private duty nurse / old-sitter and companion for an 85 years old patient currently without serious illness. She requires assistance in medication, doctor / therapy appointments, companionship, hygiene, getting up and sitting down.
DUTIES:
• 12-hour daily shift (7:30 AM - 7:30 PM), Monday - Saturday
• Daily Hygiene
• Daily Vitals - log on log sheet
• Medication Preparation & Intake
• Daily Log - food, diarrhea, moods, visitors, incidents, physical activities, indoor / outdoor activities
• Diaper change - 2X a day
• Wound / Rash care
• Doctors & Therapist appointments & follow-up sessions + make the appointment
• Follow-through on Doctor's & Therapist orders
• Medical records log - for reporting / discussion with family
• Light secretarial duties - mobile calls, family emails answering, handle remote control, operate technology
• Diet management according to doctor instructions
• Prepare simple breakfast or lunch (1 meal a day), order healthy food at night
• Work with maid cum old-sitter who is at home 24/7
• Companionship, conversations & laughter
• Brain / Memory Care
• Exercise / Dancing
• Companion when going to doctor, therapy, salon, or shopping (1 - 3X a week)
• Family support - work with daughter for daily & weekly updates
• Must be automatically available on 24 hour duty as needed depending on patient medical situation
Yêu cầu
• Registered Female Nurse or with medical background
• Late 30's to late 40's in age
• English fluency required - can easily converse, email, good comprehension to talk to doctor, therapists, family
• Must have an alert mind & quick reaction
• College graduate, computer skills, e-mailing skills, can use apps easily for health tracking
• With experience in an international hospital setting, with experience in working with foreign patients and their families
• With past experience in taking care of children or elderly patients in home setting
• Large body frame & strong to properly assist the patient when standing up, sitting down or laying down
• With experience in talking to foreign doctors and emailing or calling to follow-up on patient care
• Always update family
SALARY:
• Range: $700 or above depending on experience
• With standard benefits from social insurance
• Standard 14 days annual leave
