PROCESS - SMT
Job Description
Manage and control SMT processes for NPI and mass production, monitor yield and drive continuous improvement.
Conduct Gerber Review, DFM and PFMEA to identify design and process risks and propose improvements.
Design and optimize stencils and perform SMT defect analysis, including cross-section, red ink and EDS analysis.
Conduct SMT line validation including Cpk and GR&R, using CAM350, AutoCAD and related engineering tools.
Support SMT NPI projects, line validation and reliability testing such as pressure, stress and aging tests.
Handle SMT/SI abnormalities in mass production, perform root cause analysis and implement corrective actions.
Monitor daily SMT yield and production performance and prepare weekly reports for customers.
Analyze customer complaints and OBA defects, prepare FA/8D reports and drive corrective improvements.
Collaborate with PE, QA, R&D and Equipment teams to optimize processes, improve quality and reduce costs.
Requirements
College degree or above in Engineering or related fields.
1+ year of experience in SMT Process Engineering, with solid knowledge of NPI and mass production.
Proficient in Gerber Review, DFM and PFMEA.
Experience in SMT defect analysis, stencil optimization, Cpk/GR&R and process validation.
Familiar with CAM350, AutoCAD and other engineering tools.
Experience with SMT NPI and reliability testing is preferred.
Strong problem-solving skills with experience in FA/FACA, OBA and 8D.
Good communication and cross-functional collaboration skills.
English or Chinese proficiency in all four skills; bilingual Chinese/English candidates are preferred.
PROCESS - FATP
Job Description
Manage and control FATP processes (assembly, testing and packaging) for NPI and mass production.
Conduct DFM/DFA and DFMEA/PFMEA to identify design and process risks and drive improvements.
Develop process plans for equipment, tooling and fixtures, including dispensing, screw locking, leak testing, laser and ultrasonic processes.
Conduct 3D product reviews using CAD/Creo, break down assembly processes and identify tooling/fixture requirements.
Develop and implement SOP/WI/POP to standardize processes and ensure stable quality.
Analyze production abnormalities, defect rates and efficiency; conduct DOE, FA/FACA and continuous improvement activities.
Support the transfer from trial production to mass production, ensuring process stability and quality targets.
Act as the Process/NPI interface with customers and coordinate with cross-functional teams.
Requirements
College degree or above in Engineering or related fields.
1+ year of experience in Process/NPI Engineering within FATP, including assembly, testing or packaging.
Good knowledge of DFM/DFA, DFMEA/PFMEA and NPI processes.
Experience transferring products from trial production to mass production.
Proficient in CAD/Creo for 3D review, assembly process analysis and jig/fixture planning.
Experience developing SOP/WI/POP and standardizing manufacturing processes.
Strong problem-solving skills with experience in DOE, FA/FACA and continuous improvement.
Good communication and cross-functional collaboration skills, including customer interaction.
English or Chinese proficiency in all four skills; bilingual Chinese/English candidates are preferred.
