- Adhere to Procurement Policies and Processes to provide a strategic, efficient and flexible procurement service which will deliver optimum value for money, cost savings and best quality of service essential for daily operations.
- Responsible in
purchasing activities such as procurement strategy, supplier relationship management and contract management for goods and services.
- Source, request and review quotes / bids, contracts or supplier agreement for legal correctness, price and acceptability of goods or services according to specifications.
- Issue Purchase Orders to procure goods or services in line with best cost, quality and delivery targets.
- Collaborate with Inter-divisions; provide an effective and value-added services for the entire organization. Interfaces with Finance, Logistics or Suppliers to resolve all shipping or finance related discrepancies.
- Support Senior Procurement Specialist on tasks upon request.
- Participate in Lean Procurement activities for continuous improvement and optimize workflow
- Contributes to team effort by accomplishing related results as targets set
- Handle ad-hoc duties / projects when necessary
