Procurement Specialist

Role Purpose
• To drive & manage all sourcing, purchasing activities for Vietnam in line with Procurement strategy and deliver business needs thru best values purchasing, compliance, innovation, simplification.
• To execute priorities in procurement to harmonize best practices, implementation of procedures and engage with the procurement team
• Minimize contractor and supplier portfolio to reduce workloads in procurement.
Principal Accountabilities and Key Activities
Job Description:
1. To ensure the implementation of a robust supplier evaluation & approval process for all new suppliers, ensuring agreement to the Coats Supplier code.
2. Supplier performance monitor, risk analysis, and supply relationship management.
3. Lead and execute the end-to-end purchasing process for business requirements, using best practice to achieve best value for money.
4. To deliver purchasing productivities as cost savings in procurement function. Support the execution of sourcing processes as appropriate. Engage effectively with the business to formulate and communicate clear business requirements to suppliers.
5. Ensure all contracts are awarded in compliance with appropriate legislation.
6. Maintain accurate, prioritized and auditable records of procurement process compliance.
7. To drive vendor consolidation in line with Procurement strategy.
8. Follow-up all process including RFQ, negotiating, contract, PO creation, PO release, payment, maintenance supplier and material data
9. Keep efficient communication with related functions to effectively resolve purchasing issues.
