Product Designer

BioTuring is an innovative bioinformatics company that develops algorithms, and software to serve scientists from hundreds of pharmaceutical companies and leading research institutions, enabling discoveries about human diseases.

BioTuring is seeking a passionate and talented Product Designer to join our growing team, and leading the design of our bioinformatics platform, creating intuitive interfaces for complex scientific data

• Lead the design process for all features and functionalities within the BioTuring platform and ecosystem.


• Develop high-fidelity mockups, prototypes, and user interface (UI) design elements.


• Create and maintain detailed flowcharts and user journey maps to document design decisions and user interactions.


• Manageproject timelines and milestones effectively to ensure on-time product releases.


• Champion user research and advocate for a data-driven design approach.


• Participate in product strategy discussions and provide design expertise.


• Stay up-to-date on the latest trends and best practices in user interface (UI) and user experience (UX) design

• 3+ years of experience in product design, with a focus on complex platforms, enterprise software, or visual product development.


• Aplus is a background in Biology or a related field to understand the scientific context of our platform.


• Strong understanding of design principles, including user experience (UX) research, interaction design, and visual design.


• Proven ability to create user-centered designs that are both aesthetically pleasing and functional
