What You'll Be Doing:

As part of our go-to-market strategies for our software-as-a-service (SaaS) products, your ultimate goal as the Product Marketing Specialist would be to understand what are the products or features that would suit the local merchant market while ensuring that our diverse range of products are successfully launched and well adopted by our merchants.
As this is a more senior role reporting to the Product Marketing Manager, you will be assigned to your respective product verticals. You will hold strong responsibilities as the person in charge to manage and ensure the product (s) success from its launch to the maturity stage.
As it is our team's goal to ensure the success of our products, we will need to look into managing the desirability of merchants and long term product success in the market. With this, your roles and responsibilities from day to day will include the following below but are not limited to:
- You will be deep diving to fully test and understand our new products/features that are being launched for the Malaysian market.
- Whenever there is a new feature or core product being released, you will be responsible to brainstorm together with the Product Marketing Manager and come up with key strategies on how we would market position our products across different stages (Alpha, Beta and Release to Marketing).
- Subsequently, you will be the key person in charge to plan and rolling out the execution strategies to increase the adoption rate by our merchants.
- You will be also in charge of collaborating with relevant departments to launch marketing outreach initiatives that would increase product adoption and closely monitor the usage growth from merchants.
- Conduct market research on our direct and indirect competitors (business model, products, features and value-added services). With this data, you will also work towards crafting business requirements documents (BRDs) / product request proposals for our regional Product Management team that would help us to develop the required solutions.
From time to time, you will be required to assist the team to:
- Plan and coordinate the creation of a relevant product or feature-related assets such as product update release decks, guidebooks and tutorial videos.
- Conduct actual product demonstrations and training sessions for our merchants or internal stakeholders (commercial and operations team) whenever necessary.
- Manage, assist and coach team members on improving their product knowledge or support to improve operational efficiency within the team. Team members could be your own team (Product Marketing Management) or other internal stakeholders.

Who We Are Looking For:

Bachelor's Degree in any field
2 - 4 years eCommerce professional with a background in consulting, product/project or key account management. Someone who is generally a tech or eCommerce enthusiast and has a strong passion to help stakeholders to grow successfully with new technology.
A go-getter who possesses the ability to think logically and someone who is able to step into the shoes of a client to understand their pain points or challenges.
Excellent communicator with a kind heart, you are someone who has the patience, kindness and the ability to navigate through tough situations. Preferably someone who has had a strong experience working on diverse projects across different teams or departments.
Able to learn fast, multitask and set clear priorities across different projects. In this team, you will be expected to wear multiple hats and handle different tasks at different stages.
Comfortable working with numbers and preferably someone with at least intermediate to advanced Microsoft Excel and Powerpoint presentation skills.
Excellent in verbal communication and written English. Great addition, if you could converse in Mandarin.
Excellent presentation and public speaking skills.
