Job Summary
manage and coordinate product development activities from initial development through pre-production. responsible for ensuring customer requirements are clearly understood and executed while maintaining accountability for timelines, sample development, and cross-functional communication.
Key Responsibilities
• Review and interpret customer requirements, technical packages, comments, and development specifications.
• Lead end-to-end product development from initial stage through pre-production handover.
• Drive development timelines by maintaining T&A plans, coordinating cross-functional activities, and ensuring milestone achievement.
• Engage with customers to provide updates, address technical queries, and ensure alignment throughout development.
• Proactively identify risks (e.g. material delays, wash challenges) and implement timely solutions to maintain progress.
• Manage sample development lifecycle, including proto, SMS and approval stages, ensuring readiness for pre-production.
• Oversee wash development, fabric performance, and finishing processes to meet aesthetic and quality expectations.
• Collaborate with design, washing, production, quality, and sourcing teams to ensure aligned execution and technical accuracy.
• Maintain accurate development records and manage data within PLM systems and internal tracking tools.
• Ensure compliance with customer standards, including RSL, testing protocols, and sustainability requirements.
• Uphold a strong customer-focused approach, ensuring high-quality delivery and attention to detail.
Yêu cầu
Requirements
• Minimum 2 years of experience in merchandising, product development, or a related role within the garment industry.
• Good understanding of the product development process, from sample development through pre-production.
• Strong customer service mindset and ability to build positive customer relationships.
• Excellent organizational skills with the ability to manage multiple projects and deadlines.
• Strong sense of ownership and accountability.
• Fluent English communication skills (spoken and written) are required.
• Proficiency in Microsoft Office (Excel, Outlook, PowerPoint).
Preferred Qualifications
• Experience working with international apparel brands.
• Knowledge of denim product development and garment manufacturing processes.
• Ability to work effectively in a fast-paced, team-oriented environment.
