Production Engineer (2Nd Shift)

We're having significant manufacturing base in China via our contract manufacturing partners in Guangdong and Shanghai area
We're looking for a Process Engineer responsible to work closely with internal groups and coordinate the corresponding manufacturing partnership team(s) (Quality, Planning, Manufacturing, and Technical Development).
Responsibilities & Duties
Use experiences, analysis skills, and related tools to optimize production processes. Under her/his responsibility, this includes
• Analyze production line and bottleneck optimization.
• Lead the project teams, assign tasks to team members, and drive team members to complete assigned tasks
• Identify, provide feasibility studies, and implement design improvements to suit manufacturing processes, or for the introduction of new plant, equipment, and tooling.
• Develop new and existing manufacturing processes
• Liaise with the Service personnel in relation to field problems, and review the product/process with the aim of eliminating the manufacturing defects/problems.
• Participate in Failure Mode Effects Analysis, FMEA
• Define and document Process Flow Charts, and Factory Layouts
• Prepare tooling & equipment specifications and obtain quotations
• Purchase, install, and commission new tooling and equipment
• Conduct production trials and pilot runs
• Provide the necessary plant standard operating procedures and work instructions
• Coordinate with the production management department in training workers
• Responsible for Manufacturing Capacity Management (CAMA)
• To define and deploy Manufacturing Engineering Processes and standards and engineering specifications.
• Lead setup and optimization efforts of factory, production flow, and equipment.
• Successful implementation of kaizen projects, and other continuous improvement tools.
• Accountable for the Method of manufacture and compliance to design intent.
• Assist in production problem-solving.
