Job Description
Our client is a foreign-invested manufacturing company, now looking for a Production Manager (Mechanical, ID 21217):
1. Operations & Production Management
Direct and execute manufacturing policies, practices, and shift production schedules.
Collaborate closely with Production Planning & Control to optimize schedules and meet customer requirements.
Partner with the Maintenance Team to ensure periodic Preventive and Corrective Maintenance of equipment.
Estimate, negotiate, and agree on delivery lead times with Supply Chain, Sales, and clients.
Schedule and conduct regular production meetings.
2. Continuous Improvement & Quality Control
Lead and deploy Lean Manufacturing, Six Sigma, and 5S projects as core continuous improvement methodologies.
Review, analyze, and implement process and productivity improvements.
Ensure product quality control, adherence to ISO standards, and total customer satisfaction.
Provide leadership for rapid problem resolution to facilitate ongoing operational excellence.
3. Budget & Financial Control
Ensure all production operations remain cost-effective.
Prepare, monitor, and control the annual production budget.
4. Team Leadership & Development
Build, develop, manage, and motivate a large manufacturing team.
Select, onboard, and train production staff through relevant development sessions.
5. Safety & Regulatory Compliance
Maintain safe, clean production processes and strict adherence to health and safety regulations.
Ensure full compliance with all national and local regulations.
Perform other duties as assigned by the Plant Manager.
Requirement
Experience
Minimum 10 years of experience in manufacturing operations, with at least 5 years at a managerial level.
Proven track record of successfully turning around difficult organizational operations.
Technical Skills & Certifications
Direct, hands-on experience in Lean Manufacturing, Six Sigma, and 5S.
Six Sigma Green Belt or Black Belt certification is highly preferred (+).
Good knowledge of heat treating and cryogenics is a strong advantage (+).
Soft Skills & Core Competencies
Strong leadership, strategic planning, and large-team management skills.
Creative problem solver with robust analytical and result-oriented mindset.
Deep understanding of manufacturing systems, processes, and staff development.
