About the role
As a Production Merchandiser, specialising in Cut & Sew categories (Shirts, T-shirts, Polo, Sweat shirt), you will be on the front line of keep up our high-quality standards.
Priorities are, but not restricted to, will be:
- Liaising between the Rodd & Gunn Product Team in Melbourne and our factory partners.
- Managing workflow priorities based on deliveries - Follow/manage critical path.
- Working closely with our factory partners to ensure production timelines are on track.
- Frequent factory visits to ensure our standards are being followed.
- Working closely with the Quality Technician for Cut & Sew.
- Assist with QA as required.
- Assistance with trim developments and sourcing as required.
- Work together with AU Product
Developer and VN Product developer on checking PPS and Shipment samples.
- Checking final inspection report.
- Fluent in English.
- A tertiary education in related fields.
- Excellent communication skills.
- Minimum of 3 years' experience as a Merchandiser.
- Have advanced knowledge in garment construction and fabric performance.
- Strong attention to detail and time management skills and problem solving.
- Computer literacy in Microsoft Office (Excel, Outlook and Word).
