Production Planner

- Position Title: Production Planner
- Department: Supply Chain Management
- Reports To: Value Stream Leader SCM
- Location:Ha Nam, Vietnam
Scope of Position: Long- and Shortterm Sales and Production Planning Processes as well as Customer Service to ensure on time production and delivery.
Responsibilities:
- Monitor finished goods and subassembly demands and requirements after SAP MRP Run
- Create Delivery Plan in coordination with Shipping
- Monitor demand changes and identify corrective actions if necessary- Coordinate with all affected departments the new Product Launch to minimize efforts and affects during the Product and Production Release process
- Maintain all relevant SAP Master Data for Sales & Production Planning
- Follow workflow of new/changed material release process
- Mid term planning (4 to 12 weeks) according to minimum and maximum inventory levels
- Long term planning (3 to 12 month) according to sales forecast
- Planning of production according to available material and customer requirements
- Planning of production with optimal usage of capacity and inventory levels
- Production planning according to Leveling strategy
- Creation and release of production orders and filling Hejunka Boards
- Participation in Production planning meetings to ensure delivery performance
- Evaluate and monitor internal and external Delivery Performance
- Support of Developing Production KANBAN cycles
- Make ABC analysis for finished goods and subassemblies to control inventory level in reasonable level
- Create ABC/XYZ Analysis for planning and delivery purposes
- Perform Inventory Management for finished goods and Subassemblies/WIP
- Checking COGI list and correct the errors to make sure system data is correct
- Working together with the purchasing and production team to well plan an organize the material supply to production to satisfy the customers and own business
- Controls and improves existing processes to optimise material flow and to reduce costs
- Improves and ensures optimal internal and external customer satisfaction
- Improves and ensures optimal internal and external material supply
- Support Management to achieve set objectives
- Perform any other duty, which may be assigned from time to time by management
- Maintain metrics, reports and process documentation
- Analyzing Data and Information
- Participate in problem solving activities
- Adhere to promote ISO/TS16949 policies
- Collaborate an support in activities and promoting the organizations Continuous Improvement strategy
