Professional Tour Guide - Live Virtual Tours

Professional Tour Guide - Live Virtual Tours
Freelance collaboration | Worldwide
City Explorer is looking for professional tour guides who want to bring their tours to a live online audience and create an additional source of income.
You guide viewers through your city, landmarks or cultural sites using equipment provided by City Explorer. Viewers follow your journey live, listen to your commentary and ask questions.
This opportunity has no fixed salary or guaranteed earnings. You earn a share of the donations or paid tour revenue your tours generate.
Your role:
Lead engaging live tours of places you know well.
Share local knowledge, stories and cultural insights.
Answer questions from online viewers during the tour.
Coordinate scheduled tours with our team.
You can livestream suitable tours you already run for in-person guests, bringing the same experience to an online audience.
City Explorer provides:
Equipment: GoPro cameras, stabilisers, microphones and branded equipment.
Training and coaching: Help with the equipment, live presentation and streaming quality.
Promotion: Advance promotion of scheduled virtual tours.
Platform features: Live interactive maps, viewer chat and automatic face blurring.
Moderator support: Help managing the live chat and viewer questions.
Optional audio-free tours: Viewers can watch while listening to City Explorer Radio.
How you earn:
Choose either of these models:
Free tours with donations: Viewers watch free and can support you through voluntary donations.
Paid virtual tours: Viewers watch the opening minutes free, then pay to continue watching.
For both models, you receive 70% of the revenue and City Explorer receives 30%. Your earnings depend on the donations and paid tour sales your tours generate.
Who we are looking for:
