Working hours: Full-time from 8:00 AM to 5:00 PM from Monday to Friday
Main Duties and Responsibilities
RSM's Client is now looking for The Project CFO, based in Ho Chi Minh City. The Project CFO is a key member of the senior leadership team responsible for delivering the projects in Vietnam, the Philippines, and Thailand. The successful candidate is responsible for financial management of the Management Companies (Management Cos) and Project Companies (Project Cos) related to the designated projects. The successful candidate will be instrumental in building up and developing the broader project organization.
- Financial Management & Controls
- Direct and manage all project finance functions, including Accounting, Audit, Tax, Treasury, Budgeting, Controlling, Reporting, Compliance, Project Finance, and Corporate Development
- Establish and maintain effective cost and budget controls, ensuring adequate internal controls are in place
- Financial Planning & Performance
- Manage financial planning, budgeting, forecasting, periodic financial performance reviews, KPI monitoring, and business case evaluations
- Ensure the accuracy and completeness of accounting records, budgeting and forecasting processes, cost control procedures, and financial reporting deliverables
- Cash Flow & Treasury Management
- Manage cash flow forecasting and monitor project cash flows to ensure adequate liquidity, and recommend timely corrective actions
- Audit & Compliance
- Support and ensure project audit activities are completed successfully and on time
- Ensure compliance with applicable requirements and the effective implementation of internal controls
- Management Meetings
- Attend and contribute to project management, Board of Directors, and Steering Committee (SteerCo) meetings.
Job requirements
- 5+ years of extensive professional experience, preferably within the renewable industry and in multinational companies
- Prior experience serving as a CFO or Interim CFO, with significant leadership responsibilities
- Proven experience overseeing complex financial models and making key business decisions based on results
- Ability to identify problems, formulate solutions, influence others, and drive results
- Stakeholder management and organizational understanding
- Strong leadership, interpersonal, communication, and presentation skills
- Strategic vision and analytical skills
- Proven success working collaboratively as part of a team in a fast-paced environment
- Fluent in English and Vietnamese
Education and Qualifications
- A Bachelor's degree in Finance, Accounting, or a related field is required. An MBA or a relevant postgraduate qualification is an advantage
- Professional qualifications such as CPA, ACCA, CMA, or equivalent are preferred
