DUTIES AND RESPONSIBILITIES:

1. Pre-construction:

• Administrative duties during pre-construction for planning of building project (Preparation of tender plan, carry out tender calling, follow up with the tender process)

• Prepare and develop the project plan & budget and specified timeframes

• Review and develop the process of the feasibility study and provide advice on the management of projects;

• Maintain relationship with other consultants, designers, contractors, construction and governmental legislation bodies to acquire the legal documents for the project execution;

• Make sure that all the aims of the project are met

• To oversee the overall project and construction management of projects at site



2. Other job

• Conceptualize the development strategy of the project for the development

• Lead the planning and implementation of project as well as develop full scale project plans

• Coordinate with contractors, sub-contractors in resolving any unexpected project difficulties and other problems that may rise

• Cover all aspects of a project from the beginning stages through to completion

• Coordinate with VSIP relevant departments such as EMD, M&E, W&S, LAD and resettlement team during and after construction for site coordination and handing over

• Project tracking report (conduct periodic report and/ or weekly meeting with contractors, team)

• To review and discuss the progress on the construction site and address any concerns or site issues.

• Assess the work of the contractors periodically

• Any other works assigned by Project Director, Board of Directors

• Monitoring action taken by contractor to deal with the results of delays, bad weather, or emergencies at the site.
