The Job
We are seeking a dynamic Project Manager with a strong leadership track record to oversee and drive the success of major projects within our company. The ideal candidate will have a deep understanding of manufacturing systems and supply chain management and possess the ability to lead a project team to outstanding results.
As the Project Director, you will play a critical role in shaping and executing system development strategies, ensuring the project stays on track and aligns with the company's strategic goals. With your strategic vision and exceptional management skills, you will create sustainable value and optimize the company's resources.
Key Responsibilities:
- Project Leadership:
- Lead and manage the entire projectlifecycle from initiation to completion.
- Ensure all project objectives (time, budget, quality)are met.
- Develop detailedproject plans and define execution standards.
- Budget and Resource Management:
- Manage the project budgetand ensure effectiveutilization of resources.
- Monitor and control costs,ensuring the projectstays within budget.
- Evaluation and Oversight:
- Track projectprogress, assess risks,and implement mitigation measures.
- Supervise project teams to ensure tasks are completedon time and to the required standard.
- Stakeholder and Client Relations:
- Work closely with partners, clients, and stakeholders to ensure alignmentand satisfaction.
- Coordinate between technical, financial, and administrative teams to ensureunity and effective collaboration.
- Reporting and Communication:
- Provide regular reports on project progress, financials, and any arising issues to both international team members and senior management.
- Organize project meetings, coordinate information flow, and facilitate decision- making.
Your Skills and Experience
1. Ability to communicate fluently and confidently in English.
2. Experience:
- At least 5 years of experience in project management or a similar role.
- In-depth understanding of manufacturing processes and supply chain management.
- Awareness and compliance with MRP system development regulations.
- Experience managing a team of developers in building manufacturing and supply chain management systems is a plus.
3. Skills:
Technical Skills:
- Proficiency in programming languages: C#, Python, Javascript, or Java.
- Expertise in cross-platform application development using the MVC model with HTML and CSS, following best security practices.
- Strong skills in relational database management such as SQL Server, MySQL, and Oracle.
- Knowledge of MRP and ERP systems. (Plus)
- Experience in managing cloud computing projects on platforms like AWS, Azure, Google Cloud.
- Expertise in software architecture, SOA, RESTful APIs.
Management Skills:
- Proficient in project management methodologies such as Agile, Scrum, and Kanban.
- Ability to prioritize business needs, manage time, and allocate resources effectively.• Strong risk assessment and mitigation skills in project management.
- Competence in resource and budget management.
- Excellent leadership skills, capable of managing and inspiring development teams.
- Strong communication skills with both technical and non-technical staff, partners, and senior executives.
- Critical thinking, with the ability to break down projects into manageable parts and develop creative solutions.
- Staying updated with industry trends and making decisions that optimize MRP system performance.
4. Education:
- Bachelor's degree or higher in Project Management, Engineering, Computer Science, Business Administration, or a related field.
5. Certifications: (Optional but Beneficial)
- Project Management Professional (PMP): Certification in project management could be useful.
- Certified ScrumMaster (CSM): If you're following Agile methodologies.
- Six Sigma: Understanding of process improvement techniques could be useful, particularly in manufacturing contexts.
- Relevant Technical Certifications: Such as AWS Certified Solutions Architect or Microsoft Certified: Azure Developer Associate.
