Mô tả công việc
o Developing/ managing the specification to which the team is delivering.
o Quality of technical output of his/her implementation team (all artifacts, design & test documents, code, config. Mgmt, proper defect management, test-reports....)[protected info] that the requirements/design specifications are met.
o Ensuring that gaps between system design and the implementation are closed with system design team.
o Developing estimates (size, effort, budgets) and plans (schedule, dependencies, deliverables, equipment planning, staffing plans).
o Effective project management for the project(s) - plans/tracks and takes corrective management actions in time to keep to the schedule and stay within budget.
o Accurate reporting of status.
o Adherence to software development and management processes by his/her team
o Highlighting problem areas (with enough time to act) and taking action to mitigate at own level or to effectively escalate to higher level(s) of engineering
o Training / Mentoring / Coaching for team members to create a solid implementation team well versed in technical and development methodology aspects
o Performance management of team in a fair and timely manner
o Morale/productivity of team members - senses such issues - and initiates actions or escalates as appropriate to address these
Yêu cầu
o Bachelor degree in computer science or equivalent.
o At least 2 years of management experience in Development
o Minimum 650 TOEIC scores or equivalent.
o Ability to drive and review (project specifications, high/low level design, unit/multi-unit test/ PWI/SSI plans) from implementation technology point of view - related to a technology domain area - typically for projects/products than span multiple (sequential) development.
o Ability to estimate size / effort / schedule / budget with project requirements not having been specified properly - making appropriate assumptions about items of major impact.
o Ability to develop a plan and actively manage project to the plan - foreseeing problem areas before they arise with enough time to act.
o Ability to communicate effectively with team on project and team issues - each member understands his/her assignment(s) and role.
o Ability to interact with customers on project management, implementation tech, and deliverable SW Problem issues - mostly achieving closure wherever the monthly project budget is unaffected.
o Ability to build team spirit and morale and a culture of high performance.
o Ability to supervise up to fifteen people team (up to ten SE/SSE/TL/TM/STL reporting directly) for implementation seeing that they perform their roles effectively - providing effective/timely feedback and help them improve where needed.
o Ability to set proper role + task objectives and do performance management effectively sharing and discussing with team members
o Ability to identify potential of each team member and identify specific training and assignments to improve their skills and maturity in technical and non-technical areas
AS A PLUS
o Have knowledge about system (ERP, DMS, ...) is a plus
o Have knowledge about ERP software system (SAP B1, Dynamic, Acumatica, ...) is a plus
o Good knowledge of software development life cycle models and process (RUP, CMMi, SCRUM).
o Experience in Object Oriented Programming (OOP), Object Oriented Analysis and Design (OOAD), and design patterns
o Have knowledge about .Net is a plus
