PROJECT & PRODUCT MANAGEMENT TRAINEE

We are a dynamic, medium-sized, globally operating group of companies with around 500 employees. Our headquarter is based near Pforzheim, Germany. The OBE group develops and manufactures precision mechanical components in large series for the optical industry using modern production methods.
We are looking for an enthusiastic Project & Product Management Trainee to join OBE Vietnam. This role offers a unique opportunity to participate in a structured 12-month training program in Vietnam and China, providing hands-on exposure to project management, product development, manufacturing processes, and cross-functional collaboration. Upon successful completion of the program, the trainee is expected to assume a key role within the Project & Product Management function and contribute to the long-term growth of OBE Vietnam. We are seeking driven and adaptable candidates with strong learning agility and a passion for innovation and continuous improvement.
WHAT A YEAR LOOKS LIKE
▪ Learn our articles, machines and production processes on the shop floor in Tam Ky.
▪ Spend six months at the OBE Group plant in Shenzhen and learn how an article is transferred between group plants.
▪ Learn the technical documentation of an article - drawings, specifications, work instructions, inspection requirements - and the article data in proAlpha (ERP).
▪ Translate and interpret between Vietnamese, Chinese and English on technical and product matters.
▪ Then take over the product project work: transfer of existing articles from the group plants, and new articles from customer requests through to released series production.
