To supervise public area attendants and inspect public areas (including outlets, function rooms, offices, lobby, lockers, and surrounding service areas), paying attention to detail to maintain Public Area cleanliness standards and product upkeep in line with hotel requirements
Administration
To ensure that all standards are in accordance with hotel standards.
To be responsible for the overall operational performance regarding hotel public areas of the Housekeeping Department.
To research and evaluate operational procedures and suggest improvements to the Public Area
Assistant Manager.
To evaluate public attendants and gardeners on their job performance and grooming according to hotel standards. When necessary, take appropriate actions (retraining, etc.) to ensure performance is at a high-quality level.
To conduct Housekeeping operations report regarding public areas.
To review and note any special remarks from handover books and logbooks of all responsible housekeeping operations; inform and delegate employees to take proper actions, and report to the Public Area Assistant Manager.
To conduct daily briefings for public attendants and gardeners.
To investigate and submit reports on guest comments to the Public Area Assistant Manager; conduct follow-ups with relevant employees and implement training or procedural improvements if necessary.
To examine work performance of subordinates and their grooming standards.
Financial and Revenue Responsibilities
To ensure the efficient and accurate use of housekeeping equipment and materials in coordination with all employees.
To prepare weekly requisitions for chemical supplies.
Training and Human Resources Management
Greet all guests and colleagues courteously, maintain eye contact, and offer assistance according to standards.

Maintain full understanding and compliance with hotel policies related to fire, hygiene, health, and safety.
Guest Service Responsibilities
Interact with hotel guests in a friendly, polite, and positive manner.
Supervise public attendants and gardeners to ensure cleanliness and tidiness in public areas and gardens meet excellent standards; focus on details, comply with standards, and anticipate potential issues affecting quality.
Respond courteously to guest requests and complaints and take appropriate actions.
Miscellaneous
Comply with all reasonable requests from supervisors within an appropriate timeframe under normal working conditions.
Be available to perform other duties within the hotel as required by business needs.
General Duties
Ensure staff follow hotel safety regulations, chemical handling guidelines, PPE usage, and hygiene standards at all times.
Report all potential and actual hazards in public areas immediately and ensure corrective actions are taken.
Be fully knowledgeable of hotel fire, emergency, and evacuation procedures, and ensure staff understand their roles.
Minimum of 2 years' experience in Public Area Housekeeping at Supervisor or Shift Leader level
Basic reading, writing, and oral proficiency in English
Knowledge of MS Excel, Word, and PowerPoint is an asset
Familiarity with Opera, Future Log, and MC systems is an advantage
Possesses an upscale hospitality mindset
Strong leadership, interpersonal, and training skills
Good communication and customer contact skills
