Purchasing activities (60%)
Execute purchasing and sale activities including but not limited to the following tasks:
Closely work with Italy Office to get customer request and source seafood suppliers
Deal and negotiate with present suppliers effectively to get the best price; good quality; good payment term and other commercial terms
Check and make price resumes from various suppliers in Vietnam whenever receiving the inquiries;
Make commission contract and order agreements according to each order request
Do supplier/ market performing cost analysis when needed. Support to develop new products (VAT seafood and agricultural products) when needed;
Get information, especially in finding new suppliers, products and make reports for market surveys as per requested;
Follow the DL list of EU to find new processing plant & counsel idea to Director about suppliers, market trends, etc. when needed;
Keep in touch with regular suppliers of the company, build up a good relation with them
Make to‐do list and follow‐up all related tasks and orders pending with suppliers; customers until they are done well;
Manage, control, foreseeable and prevent any risk happen in procurement operation
Accompany Director during business trips in Vietnam to visit suppliers; attend and make resumes for meetings
Tracking suppliers' performance
Follow up production process and co-operate with colleague to control supplier production performance
Liaising with colleague and supplier to ensure goods quality control, shipment and payment on time
Make supplier performance evaluation timely and do relevant reports
Other tasks as per Director's request
Sales activities (40%)
Support Director in sales activities including but not limited to the following tasks:
Finding names of importers of frozen fish products, in the countries indicated by the Director
Sending emails, following the director's format
Then soliciting responses and following up contacts together with the director.
