Purchasing Manager - Electronics Components D9

For our client we are recruiting an experienced Purchasing Manager willing to lead a local team focused on electronic consumer sourcing for local productions
Description
The candidate, reporting to the Purchasing Country Head, will be responsible of the following activities:
* Manage assigned direct spend category and relative team
* Execute RFI, RFQ and RFP to include comparative analysis
* National and/or regional program development and implementation
* Conduct supplier risk assessment, explore the suppliers in the market and understand industry trends
Cost management, negotiate and track all cost savings including cost avoidance
* Actively support the needs of other departments relative to product, supplier and service related issues
* Interface with suppliers to drive cost of goods sold (COGS) initiatives to reduce cost and increase efficiency
* Collaborate with cross functional teams equipment innovation, store planning, construction managers and franchisees
Profile
The ideal Purchasing Manager will have at least 8 years of experience in strategic procurement with electronic components background. A bachelor degree is essential, preferably in Engineering,whereas it would be an advantage if also have a previous background in Supply Chain, Engineering, Quality Management or other related disciplines in the EMS environment.
Requested is a strong track record in quality management and ability to work independently. Exceptional communication skills are necessary for the interactions between cross team members and external suppliers.
Fluency in English, and Vietnamese is fundamental.
You will have to travel occasionally when it is required.
