Job Level: Mid to Senior
Position Objective: The AI Engineer will design, develop, and deploy artificial intelligence and machine learning solutions to automate critical insurance processes. This role combines deep technical expertise with insurance/ banking/ finance domain knowledge to deliver scalable automation solutions that improve efficiency, accuracy, and customer experience.
Roles and Responsibilities:
· AI/ML Development o Design and implement machine learning models for insurance-specific use cases including predictive risk modeling, automated claims assessment, and fraud detection o Develop natural language processing solutions for document analysis, policy interpretation, and customer inquiry automation o Build computer vision systems for automated damage assessment, medical record analysis, and document processing o Create recommendation engines for personalized insurance products and pricing optimization
· Automation Solutions o Architect end-to-end automation workflows that integrate AI models with existing insurance systems and processes o Build intelligent chatbots and virtual assistants for customer service and agent support o Implement automated systems that combine rule-based logic with machine learning insights
· Technical Implementation o Deploy AI models in production environments with proper monitoring, scaling, and maintenance protocols o Integrate AI solutions with core insurance platforms, databases, and third-party APIs o Ensure data quality, model performance, and system reliability through comprehensive testing and validation o Collaborate with DevOps teams to establish CI/CD pipelines for ML model deployment
· Data Management & Analytics o Work with large datasets including external data sources o Implement data preprocessing pipelines and feature engineering for model training
Communication Requirements: Excellent communication skills to collaborate with business stakeholders, technical teams, and senior management. Good English skills.
Minimum Job Requirements:
● Education o Bachelor's in Computer Science, Data Science, Machine Learning, or related field
● Experience o 3+ years of experience in AI/ML engineering with proven track record of deploying production systems o Expert-level proficiency in Python for AI/ML development o Hands-on experience with Large Language Models including Claude (Anthropic) and OpenAI GPT models o Understanding of software engineering best practices including version control, testing, and documentation o Experience with Google Cloud Platform (GCP) and its AI/ML services
● Special/Skills o Knowledge of database systems (SQL, NoSQL) and data pipeline technologies o Preferred but not required: Knowledge of insurance or banking or finance domain o Knowledge on n8n is a plus
● Analytical & Soft Skills o Strong analytical and problem-solving abilities with attention to detail o Excellent communication skills to collaborate with business stakeholders, technical teams, and senior management
