Mô tả công việc
The Quality Assurance Engineer / Tester at Pivot88 is responsible for performing various tests of features and functions on the web and mobile apps as requested, documenting and reporting bugs, managing and planning tasks for the test team, communicating with all team members to ensure quality product is delivered to clients upon deployment. They are also responsible for creating and updating reference material and user guides related to features, functions, configurations and processes to be used for internal and external training. Product improvement ideas, inconsistency analysis and other tasks may also be required.
Duties:
· Works with the Sales and Customer Success teams, Project Managers and Developers to translate business requirements and functional specifications into test plans and test scripts;
· Manages requirements traceability and control status of proper adequacy of development to requirements throughout the project (ensuring that functional / technical design specifications match requirements, and are delivered in the solution or application);
· Prepares test plans and test documents;
· Creates test strategies, test plans, test cases, regression testing, test scripts and test reports;
· Tracks testing status and reports bugs (using ticketing tool);
· Interfaces and interacts with developers to resolve problems identified in the solution or application testing and ensure quality, as well as compliance with established test cases and specifications.
Yêu cầu
Skills & Requirements:
· BS or BA degree in an IT-related subject preferred;
· At least 3+ years of relevant QA technical experience on enterprise and mobile software solutions;
· Knowledge of a broad range of software applications and of hardware and networks;
· Experience creating clear, concise detail oriented test plans/cases;
· Strong programming knowledge;
· Ability to understand and create test plans from specifications or verbal communications;
· Experiences in Quality Management Software and Processes;
· A good understanding of business processes;
· Ability to think in the abstract and see how small details fit into the bigger picture;
· Ability to focus on deadlines and deliverables - ensuring the ability to find the bad defects and bugs quickly;
· A creative mindset - and the ability to approach a problem creatively;
· Ability to use logic and reasoning to identify the strengths and weaknesses of software and IT systems;
· Expertise in database testing including designing and manipulating test data, validating stored procs, jobs, triggers and replication;
· Highly organized with Outstanding communication (written and verbal) skills, including the ability to communicate technical/complex information;
