QC Inspector

• Supervision of welding related work
• Visual examination of welding's and steel surfaces
• Final inspection of materials (outgoing inspection at sub suppliers)
• Assisting in QC Handover process
• Attend audits, kick-off meetings and other project related meetings
• Assist the sub suppliers to issue the project QA-plan and related documents
• Verification of materials received as towards purchase order and project specifications
• General project monitoring
• Workshop inspections at sub suppliers to verify the overall QHSE conduct and progress
• Assist the sub suppliers to find alternative solutions in case of increased and unacceptable weld rejection rates occur from production
• Provide experience-based knowledge to recover a production that suffers from poor quality or insufficient progress
• Review supplier's QA/QC documents including "as-built"
• Random check-up on the NDT-operators reporting
• Frequent reporting to the PM/SPM
• Assist the suppliers to give adequate replies on NCR ́s and technical concerns raised by the client or third parties
• Assisting the project management on issues regarding the technical execution of sub supplier's productions
• Verification of welding plans according to approved WPS' and drawings
• Verification of dimensional control of jigs
• Spot checks of dimensions
• Follow up and control of sub-supplier's own quality control (welding, dimensional, coating, general quality)
