Provides QC input in all aspects of the project, including technical design review and development activity
Participates in problem solving sessions with development staff when required
Provides QC oversight and guidance to QC team members to ensure project milestones are met and that QC activities are handled in accordance with project standards
Oversees testing to ensure quality is not compromised by resource constraints, changes in scope, or compressed schedules
Ensures all approvals are obtained on new requirements
Leads the implementation of new technologies in accordance with corporate standards
Participates in the development, documentation, and maintenance of departmental procedures and processes
Ensures the QC department postures itself to self-correct and enhance its activities independent of direction from senior management
Ensures all project staff are trained and support the QC team
Provides accurate information and statistics to management upon request, as well as on a quarterly basis
Supports corporate standards in all aspects of departmental activities
Communicates resolution strategies, strategies, expectations, and specific tasks with development when applicable
Ensures appropriate documentation standards are followed for technical tasks in accordance with corporate procedures and policies.
