Responsibilities:
Create/utilize quality control documents including QC Checklists and Inspection Minutes (Quote checklist, Production checklist, QC checklist, Packing checklist).
Meet quality targets and ensure that product meets the Company's quality standards. Liaising
with Production Manager to ensure technical drawings are clearly defined before production and review drawings and anticipate issues with production. Create
claim follow up system, preventative actions and quality improvement system. Improve the quality management system for quicker detection of defects and quicker
corrective action. Ensure the best solutions and best materials.
Assist the Production Manager in pushing suppliers to deliver products on time
Support
to assess suppliers' capacity and their labor compliance standard
Support
to inform quality standard and approve samples so suppliers clearly understand
the quality requirement
Support
training of suppliers in production and final inspections to ensure the highest
quality
Other
duties as assigned
Qualifications:
5+ years in furniture QC with the ability to improve and implement QC and QA processes and systems.
Have experience working with US, UK or Europe based companies is a PLUS.Have experience working with subcontractors/suppliers.
Furniture materials (especially lacquer) is a PLUS.Strong attention to detail, highly organized and able to prioritize and meet deadlines
with a strong focus on reducing / eliminating errors or defects and ensuring that we follow the production schedule. Able to
read and understand AutoCAD drawings. Excellent command of English - verbal and written.
Effective problem solving, analytical and communication skills. Excellent
knowledge of MS Office (Outlook, PowerPoint, Word and Excel). Good communication skills.
Excellent organizational skills, able to self-motivate and time manage. Excellent
Multi-tasking skills. Strong project management skills, coordinating and planning production to achieve the
highest quality and maintaining the production schedule for each PO.
