+ PURPOSE OF THIS ROLE The Production & Quality Control Officer is responsible for ensuring that all raw materials, production processes, and finished products meet established quality standards and customer requirements. This role supports efficient production execution, maintains accurate documentation, and contributes to continuous improvement initiatives within the manufacturing process.
+ WHOM ARE WE LOOKING FOR
We are seeking a detail-oriented and proactive individual with a strong sense of responsibility in both production and quality control. The ideal candidate is a team player who can make sound judgments in dynamic situations, has a practical problem-solving mindset, and is capable of working effectively in a manufacturing environment.
+ PRIMARY RESPONSIBILITIES
· Ensure all incoming materials comply with the Raw Material Incoming Inspection Procedure
· Maintain quality records for all raw materials and verify conformity with purchase orders
· Prepare and maintain the Daily Production Report
· Ensure proper production "roadmap" is followed for each product and process
· Monitor and ensure all product specifications are within accepted tolerances
· Supervise production processes to ensure correct and efficient execution
· Use basic measurement tools (e.g., vernier caliper, measuring tape) accurately
· Ensure outgoing inspections are conducted according to AQL standards to prevent defects and meet customer requirements
· Support internal quality audits and documentation control (DCC)
· Assist in developing and conducting training programs for new employees
+ KNOWLEDGE & SKILL REQUIRED
· Basic understanding of quality control and manufacturing processes
· Familiarity with inspection standards and measurement techniques
· Ability to interpret specifications, drawings, and tolerances
· Strong problem-solving skills and attention to detail
· Good communication and teamwork skills
· Ability to make decisions in uncertain or "grey area" situations
· Proficiency in Microsoft Excel; knowledge of Minitab is an advantage
· Basic English communication skills are a plus
+ EDUCATION QUALIFICATION
· Bachelor's Degree, Diploma, or equivalent (M6) in any field
· Practical ability to troubleshoot and resolve issues using available tools and resources is essential
+ EXPERIENCE
· Minimum 2 years of experience in a manufacturing environment (panel manufacturing is a plus)
· Background in Quality Control (QC) or Quality Assurance (QA) is an advantage
· Strong team collaboration skills and sound judgment
· English communication skills are an advantage
· Proficiency in Excel is required; Minitab is a plus
