The Quality Manager will oversee quality assurance and quality control processes within the food industry. This role is key to ensuring effective operations and compliance with relevant standards.
Description
As a Quality Manager, your main responsibilities will include:
* Developing and implementing quality assurance and control systems to meet system standards like BRCGS, Kosher, Halal, Organic, and others
* Monitoring and analysing production processes to ensure compliance with quality requirements.
* Conducting audits and inspections to identify areas for improvement.
* Collaborating with cross-functional teams to address quality-related issues and drive continuous improvement.
* Ensuring all products meet regulatory and customer standards.
* Documenting and reporting quality metrics and performance data.
* Providing training and guidance to staff on quality protocols and procedures.
* Managing relationships with suppliers to ensure materials meet quality specifications.
Profile
A successful Quality Manager should have:
* A background in food engineering, manufacturing, or a related field.
* Strong knowledge of quality assurance and control methodologies.
* Experience in the food manufacturing is an advantage.
* Proficiency in analysing and interpreting technical data.
* Excellent problem-solving and decision-making skills.
* Ability to work collaboratively across departments and strong leadership skills.
* Strong attention to detail and commitment to maintaining high standards.
