Fabric Merchandising
This role manages fabric development and production follow-up, ensuring smooth coordination with buyers and internal teams. The role will also help establish core merchandising procedures, KPIs, and workflow standards.
Key Responsibilities
· Receive and issue fabric orders; track progress from sampling to bulk.
· Coordinate lab dips, strike-offs, and approvals.
· Monitor bulk production schedules and ensure timely delivery.
· Liaise with sales, production, QA, and logistics to resolve issues.
· Develop and implement KPIs to monitor order status and team performance.
· Set up merchandising procedures, documentation standards, and work instructions (WIs).
· Support digital tracking/reporting system setup and improvements.
· Regularly review and improve merchandising practices for better efficiency.
Fabric Production Planning
Responsible for managing fabric production plans to ensure efficient resource use and on-time delivery. This new role is expected to build planning systems, KPIs, and workflows to enhance overall production control.
Key Responsibilities
· Create and update detailed fabric production plans based on order requirements.
· Monitor daily progress and resolve bottlenecks or delays.
· Coordinate with dyeing, finishing, QA, and logistics teams to ensure delivery targets.
· Track raw material availability and factory capacity.
· Set up KPIs and dashboards for production monitoring and delivery performance.
· Establish standard production planning procedures and WIs.
· Work with IT/systems team to enhance planning tools and reporting.
· Lead continuous improvement projects for planning efficiency and accuracy.
