This position belongs to the Materials Engineering function, under R&D, focusing on material (steel, plastics, rubber, painted metal, printing, etc) research, evaluation, and improvement for Washing Machine and Refrigerator products.
Key Responsibilities
- Receive requests and evaluate according to the corporation standard system
- Analyze quality issue related to material in the market or the line
- Make a general plan for the project and manage progress and give countermeasures when unusual problems are detected
- Make judgments on the selection of materials for design engineers
- Determine standards corresponding to raw materials and establish items that need to be tested according to standards
- Work with makers to propose improvements or changes to materials appropriate materials
- Follow the maintenance plan of testing equipment
- Follow the purchase of equipment and tools for the laboratory
- Manage chemicals: control import, export, inventory of chemicals, prepare reports and send to HSE department every 3 months
- Follow and provide work instruction for Engineer level
Yêu cầu
- University degree in Materials, Chemistry, Chemical Technology, or related fields
- About 5 years of experience in relevant position
- Have experiences in material quality control, using material analysis equipment (infrared spectrometer, X-ray, thermal analyzer...), using material mechanical evaluation machine
- Good English. Knowing Japanese is an advantage
- Ability to work independently and in a team. Team management, Decision making and Good hou-ren-sou skills
- Enthusiastic, honest, careful, active in work, cross-department collaboration, and highly responsible.
