REC - Lifeguard Team Leader

Lifeguard Operations
Supervise daily lifeguard operations at pool and beach areas.
Ensure adequate lifeguard coverage throughout operating hours.
Assign daily duties and monitor work performance.
Support the Recreation Manager in daily operations.
Guest Safety & Emergency Response
Ensure guests are monitored at all times in pool and beach areas.
Coordinate rescue operations during emergencies.
Perform CPR and First Aid when required.
Ensure rescue equipment is operational and properly maintained.
Monitor weather, sea conditions, and safety warning flags.
Complete accident and incident reports promptly.
Pool & Beach Facility Management
Ensure pool and beach facilities are ready before opening.
Monitor cleanliness and presentation of recreation areas.a
Inspect loungers, umbrellas, towels, and guest amenities.
Coordinate maintenance requests for recreation facilities.
Ensure sufficient operational supplies and equipment.
Team Leadership & Development
Supervise, coach, and motivate Lifeguard Associates.
Conduct on-the-job training and safety briefings.
Monitor attendance, grooming, and work discipline.
Assist with performance evaluations and development plans.
Foster teamwork and a positive working environment.
Health, Safety & Compliance
Ensure compliance with Resort policies and procedures.
Conduct routine safety inspections of pool and beach areas.
Ensure Associates comply with safety regulations.
Participate in emergency drills and safety training.
Administration & Coordination
Complete operational reports and departmental records.
Monitor inventory of towels, rescue equipment, and supplies.
Coordinate with Engineering, Housekeeping, Security, and Front Office.
